I’ve learned many household skills during my life. I learned some basic skills as a child as I watched both my parents. Later as I grew up and moved into my first apartment I was faced with having to learn a few more household skills, such as doing laundry, ironing, vacuuming, etc. Then finally after purchasing my first house, I realized just how much there was to know and learn. I found myself visiting the home improvement stores almost weekly. But I enjoyed learning how to fix and maintain my own home instead of relying on professional services. We can all strive to become at least a little more self-sufficient. I want to pass along useful information to anyone looking to learn new household skills themselves.
